Welcome to Shariva Shipping. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and obligations that govern the use of our logistics and freight services. By booking or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by the terms below.

1. Service Scope

Shariva Shipping provides freight forwarding, transportation, custom clearance, and cargo insurance services via air, sea, and road. All services are subject to availability, routing feasibility, and documentation compliance.

2. Booking & Documentation
  • Clients must provide accurate shipment details, including cargo type, weight, dimensions, invoice, and packing list.
  • Delays or penalties due to incorrect or incomplete documentation will be the responsibility of the client.
  • Any government permits or special licenses required for export/import are to be arranged by the client unless agreed otherwise.
3. Freight Charges & Payment Terms
  • All quotes shared by Shariva Shipping are valid for a limited period (usually 7 days) unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment terms will be defined at the time of agreement — advance, part-payment, or credit (if applicable).
  • Any changes in fuel surcharge, port fees, or third-party charges after booking will be communicated and billed accordingly.
  • Late payments may attract a service delay or penalty.
4. Liability & Insurance
  • Shariva Shipping’s liability is limited to the standard rules defined under the applicable freight laws.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by weather, port congestion, customs inspections, or force majeure events.
  • Insurance coverage is optional and provided only if specifically requested and paid for. Without insurance, the client assumes full risk for loss or damage.
5. Cargo Handling
  • All cargo must be packed securely by the client to withstand transportation handling.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or re-pack cargo that is improperly packed, dangerous, or restricted.
  • Special or hazardous cargo must be declared in advance with proper documentation.
6. Custom Clearance
  • We facilitate clearance based on the documentation provided by the client. Any discrepancy in documents or valuation is the client’s responsibility.
  • Demurrage, detention, or penalties due to incorrect documents, delayed approvals, or other reasons beyond our control will be borne by the client.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • Cancellations must be made in writing at least 48 hours before scheduled pickup or shipment.
  • Refunds (if any) will be processed after deduction of booking, handling, and third-party charges already incurred.
  • No refund will be applicable for services already executed or confirmed through third-party carriers.
8. Confidentiality & Privacy

All personal, business, or shipment data shared with Shariva Shipping will be treated as confidential. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except for logistics execution, legal compliance, or customs authorities.

9. Dispute Resolution
  • In case of any disputes, efforts will be made to resolve the issue mutually through written communication.
  • Jurisdiction for all legal matters will be Mumbai, Maharashtra, unless stated otherwise.
10. Amendments

Shariva Shipping reserves the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Please review this page periodically for any changes.
